Lynda Sing

Lynda is an RYT-500 and has been teaching for 10 and practicing for 20 years. She’s been a professional dancer for many years with numerous renowned companies in NYC and has always loved all types of movement and fitness. She was drawn to yoga for the positive balancing physical benefits and became more and more curious about the inner world exploration that was present in the practice.

This curiosity lead her to dive deeper and complete her 200-hour certification with Prana Yoga Teacher’s College, 500-hour certification with the Zenyasa Yoga & Wellness Studio, a 108-hour Anatomy Studies for Yoga Teachers with Jason Ray Brown, 100-hour Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training with Jillian Pransky, and a pre-natal certification with Carrie Parker Gastelu. She also is a facilitator in Social Presencing Theater (SPT), a mindful movement form utilizing embodied presence practices for personal and collective creative transformation.

Lynda brings her 20+ years of movement experience, knowledge of the body, injury prevention and rehabilitation. She continues to expand her knowledge and understanding with the study of mindfulness meditation, nutrition, brain-based therapies, and the healing power of nature.

In addition to group classes, Lynda specializes in teaching one-to-one sessions, creating specific sequences to meet the needs of the individual, as well as teaching for organizations and institutions. She’s been a trusted teacher for places such as Fordham University, Yeshiva University, Bronx-Lebanon Hospital and NYU Langone Hospital.
